Patinated bronze, ormolu, base in porphyry and marble.
19th century, Empire period. 

H. 27 - L. 45 - D. 16,5 cm.

This model of lionesses is characterized by its Egyptian inspiration, in the quasi schematization of the muscles of the animal as well as in the use of porphyry. The model is that of the Egyptian basalt lions that are today at the foot of the capitol.
