The Extraordinary Object

From June 3 to June 6 2026, the Carré Rive Gauche will host the 48th edition of L’Objet Extraordinaire. Over the course of these four days, the iconic streets of the Carré Rive Gauche — from Rue du Bac to Quai Voltaire, via Rue des Saints-Pères, Rue de Lille, and Rue de Beaune — will be transformed into a true cultural trail. Participating galleries will invite visitors to discover their unique worlds and treasures within this historic and prestigious Parisian district.

The festivities will begin with an opening reception on Wednesday, June 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., across all participating galleries. Visitors will then have the opportunity to explore the exhibitions presented throughout the event. Private tours of the participating galleries will be organized from June 4 to June 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., departing every thirty minutes. This edition will also feature two special lectures.
